Q&A

Frequently asked questions about Challenge Capsule.

Q1.What is Challenge Capsule?

Challenge Capsule is a Web3 running feature where users open Capsules, complete movement challenges through the STEPN or STEPN GO App, receive Tickets, and join prize draws or social interactions. Whitelisted players can access the Beta Phase at https://id.fsl.com. Once logged in, go to "Applications" > "Challenge Capsules".

Q2.Do I need to run to participate?

Yes. For Treasure Capsules (officially created), users need to complete a movement task through the STEPN or STEPN GO App. Only SMAC-verified movement can grant a Ticket to participate.

Q3.What is a Ticket?

A Ticket is your entry into the prize draw. You can only receive a Ticket after successfully completing and verifying the required challenge. After being verified, you can add more tickets to the prize draw to increase your winning chance. STEPN GO users earn tickets through Charm-run. STEPN users gain tickets from special Mystery Boxes from High-resilience-run.

Q4.How to define High-resilience?

Users need to have a minimum Resilience value of 500 to gain a special version of Mystery Boxes. Special Mystery Box quality follows the same pattern as Luck-value Mystery Boxes; however, for the same quality of Mystery Box, the higher the Resilience, the more tickets users can receive.

Q5.Are Capsules free to enter?

No. All Capsules have an entry fee to participate. You can get a 10% discount on the entry fee if you use the random button to pick a Capsule.

Q6.Will I get a refund if I fail in completing the challenge?

No. If you fail in completing the challenge or if your movement data does not meet the requirement, you will not receive a Ticket and your entry fee will not be refunded.

Q7.Where does the Entry Fee go?

6% of each participant's entry fee goes to the creator's treasury (official treasury). On top of that, 20% of failed participants' entry fees enter the prize pool which is rewarded to the raffle winner. 80% of failed participants' entry fees go to the creator's treasury.

Q8.What happens if I open a Capsule but do not complete the challenge?

If you do nothing within the required time, it equals failing to complete the challenge. You will not receive a Ticket and your entry fee will not be refunded.

Q9.Why does the entry fee go into the prize pool if I fail the challenge?

This rule encourages real participation and prevents users from occupying Capsule slots without completing the challenge. It also increases the reward pool for users who successfully complete their movement challenges.

Q10.Will I get a refund if the Capsule does not reach the required number of participants?

If the Capsule expires and does not meet the minimum required number of qualified participants, the Capsule will be cancelled. Users who successfully completed the challenge will receive a refund according to the Capsule rules. Along with the refund, a ticket will be granted to those users.

Q11.How is the winner selected?

Winners are selected through a draw mechanism — each ticket represents one winning chance. Some Capsules can contain more than one reward; a participant could win multiple rewards if they put more tickets into one Capsule.

Q12.Can I participate in multiple Capsules at one time?

No. You must finish the required challenge in one Capsule within the required time before participating in another Capsule.

Q13.I am a STEPN GO user. Does a Guest's activity affect my challenge?

No. Guest activity does not help the Host's challenge.

Q14.Is Challenge Capsule only about rewards?

No. Rewards are one part of the experience, but Challenge Capsule is also designed to encourage movement, social discovery, community interaction, and user-generated activities.

Info

Challenge Capsule is being improved. Certain rules, labels, calculations, and interfaces may be adjusted as the feature continues to develop.
